Marking Bhagat Singh’s 119th birth anniversary in Hyderabad, AIYF state general secretary Nerlakanti Srikanth called on youth to prepare for struggles for jobs, free education and healthcare, protection of public assets and secular, democratic values.

Hyderabad, September 28: All India Youth Federation (AIYF) state general secretary Nerlakanti Srikanth on Monday urged young people to prepare for struggles to complete the unfinished work of building the exploitation-free, equal society that Bhagat Singh had dreamed of. He was speaking at the AIYF state office on the 119th birth anniversary of the freedom fighter.

Leaders garlanded a large cutout of Bhagat Singh and paid floral tributes. Srikanth said young people today needed to walk the path Bhagat Singh showed, adding that the society he envisioned has still not been fully realised.
