Hyderabad, September 29: More than 70 IT and non-IT companies offered upwards of 1,000 job openings at a large-scale job fair held at Cyber Gardens, Jubilee Enclave, near Shilparamam in Hitec City, organised by the team behind the private song “Oh Naa Sidhayya.” A large turnout of job seekers attended the event, which paired entertainment industry backing with a hiring drive and a set of social welfare initiatives.

Who Was There
Siddu Reddy Kandakattla and Katyayani Jagan, who feature in “Oh Naa Sidhayya,” attended along with actress Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Nilofer Café proprietor Baburao, among others, extending their support to the initiative. Kandakattla, who is making his entry into the music industry through the song, said his initiatives would go beyond entertainment to include creating jobs, offering social support and contributing to community development.

Organisers said participating companies included TCS, Sagility, Teleperformance, HGS, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Digitide, Genpact, Justdial, Reliance Digital, Axis Bank, IDBI Bank and Neon Motors, among others. Openings spanned IT and software, banking, logistics, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, nursing, marketing and digital marketing, hospitality, sales, driving, engineering, accounts, and voice and non-voice process roles. Eligibility ranged from candidates with a 10th-standard qualification through Intermediate, ITI and Diploma holders to those with a B.Tech, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Com or MBA, with both freshers and experienced professionals attending. Candidates who qualified were given the opportunity to receive spot offer letters after interviewing directly with company representatives.
Health Cover for Auto Drivers and Technical Crew
As part of its social responsibility push, the team said it has extended ₹3 lakh health insurance cover each to 300 auto drivers and their families for medical needs, with financial assistance of up to ₹10.50 lakh available in the event of an unforeseen incident, subject to the policy’s terms. Separately, the team said it has arranged insurance support for members of the direction, camera and other technical departments who worked on the “Oh Naa Sidhayya” shoot, as a way of extending protection to crew who worked behind the scenes.
