TYJF Distributes ID Cards to Newly Enrolled Journalists at Kapra Office
Hyderabad, July 5: The Telangana Youth Journalist Federation (TYJF) organised an ID card distribution ceremony for its newly enrolled members at the federation’s Kapra office in Hyderabad. The programme highlighted the organisation’s continued commitment to strengthening professional journalism, promoting ethical media practices, and safeguarding the welfare and rights of journalists across Telangana.
TYJF President Dr. Jitender Rao Tanugula formally presented identity cards to the newly inducted journalists. The event was coordinated by State Working President Sheikh Mehboob, who facilitated the distribution process and welcomed the new members into the federation.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Jitender Rao Tanugula urged journalists to uphold the highest standards of professional integrity, ethical reporting, and social responsibility. He emphasised that responsible journalism plays a vital role in strengthening democracy, ensuring transparency, and preserving public trust in the media.
He further stated that the Telangana Youth Journalist Federation remains dedicated to advancing journalists’ professional growth, protecting their rights, and implementing various welfare initiatives aimed at supporting media professionals throughout the state.
Speaking on the occasion, State Working President Sheikh Mehboob encouraged the newly enrolled members to actively participate in the federation’s programmes and contribute towards its organisational growth. He also announced that TYJF plans to introduce several welfare schemes, capacity-building workshops, and professional training programmes for its members in the coming months.
The newly inducted journalists expressed their appreciation after receiving their identity cards and reaffirmed their commitment to ethical journalism and public service. Federation leaders congratulated the members and appealed for collective efforts to further strengthen the organisation and the journalism profession in Telangana.
