Renergize 2026 Drives India’s AI-Powered Solar Future
Renergize 2026 in Hyderabad showcased India’s clean energy vision with AI-powered solar solutions, P2P energy trading, startup innovation, and policy leadership.
Renergize 2026 emerged as one of India’s most significant clean energy and innovation forums, bringing together policymakers, renewable energy experts, startups, investors, and technology leaders under one roof in Hyderabad.
Organized by AI-driven residential solar platform RENGY, the national conclave focused on accelerating India’s transition toward sustainable, decentralized, and technology-powered energy systems.

Held at Knowledge City, the event highlighted the growing importance of renewable energy adoption, AI-based energy management, rooftop solar ecosystems, and future-ready energy infrastructure for India’s rapidly expanding economy.
Union Minister Kishan Reddy Unveils RENGY Features
The conclave was inaugurated by G. Kishan Reddy, who officially launched the latest features of RENGY, described as India’s first AI-powered residential solar services platform.

The Union Minister praised the efforts of Akula Manikantha for creating awareness about renewable energy and introducing technology-driven solutions that support India’s clean energy goals.

Speaking at the event, Kishan Reddy said India’s renewable energy mission has evolved into a large-scale public movement under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that the country is steadily moving toward energy independence while reducing dependence on conventional fuel sources.
The Minister also highlighted several flagship initiatives introduced by the Central Government, including PM Surya Ghar Yojana for rooftop solar adoption, PM Kusum Yojana for solar-powered agriculture, and the National Solar Mission aimed at expanding India’s renewable energy capacity globally.
Telangana Investment Delay Draws Concern
During his address, Kishan Reddy expressed concern over delays from the Telangana Government regarding major clean energy investments proposed by central public sector companies.
According to the Minister, Neyveli Lignite Corporation and Coal India Limited were prepared to invest nearly ₹10,000 crore in solar power, wind energy, pumped storage projects, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Telangana. However, despite proposals being submitted months ago, the state government has reportedly not responded regarding land allocation and project approvals.
The Minister urged the state administration to act quickly to utilize these investments and strengthen Telangana’s renewable energy ecosystem.
RENGY Introduces P2P Energy Trading Platform
One of the major highlights of the forum was the announcement of RENGY’s upcoming Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Energy Trading Platform, designed to transform the residential solar market in India.
The platform will allow homeowners with rooftop solar systems to sell surplus electricity directly to other consumers through a connected digital network. Industry experts at the event described the initiative as a major step toward decentralized energy systems and smarter energy distribution.
The P2P model is expected to:
Create additional income opportunities for households
Improve energy utilization efficiency
Reduce grid pressure
Encourage large-scale rooftop solar adoption
Support sustainable urban energy ecosystems
Experts believe such innovations could redefine how residential energy is produced, shared, and consumed in India over the coming decade.
AI-Based Solar Service Management Platform Launched
In addition to energy trading solutions, RENGY also launched its Customer App and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) Platform aimed at improving after-sales service and long-term maintenance for rooftop solar consumers.
The platform focuses on:
Real-time monitoring of solar systems
Predictive maintenance support
Faster service response
Lifecycle management for residential solar infrastructure
Improved operational efficiency
The company stated that reliable maintenance and customer support remain among the biggest challenges in India’s residential solar sector, and AI-enabled monitoring solutions can significantly improve user confidence and system performance.
Leaders From Industry and Government Participate
The conclave witnessed participation from several prominent personalities including Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Rameshwar Rao, M. Ramesh Reddy, and Anila Vavili.
Panel discussions during the event focused on energy transition, startup innovation, investment opportunities, decentralized energy systems, policy reforms, and India’s roadmap toward net-zero goals.
India’s Clean Energy Future Gains Momentum
The discussions at Renergize 2026 reinforced the growing role of startups and AI-powered technologies in India’s clean energy revolution.
As India continues expanding renewable energy capacity, experts believe collaboration between governments, private companies, startups, and investors will be critical for achieving long-term sustainability goals.
With innovations such as peer-to-peer energy trading, AI-driven solar services, and decentralized energy infrastructure gaining momentum, India’s renewable energy sector is entering a transformative phase that could reshape both urban and rural power ecosystems in the years ahead.
